To say I’m excited for Cloud & Victory’s fall/winter collection would be an understatement. I’m also nervous, stressed and a little tired. It’s still the beginnings of the process and some things may not pander out, but nonetheless, I’m hopeful. And I hope people will like what is to come.

It’s still rather odd to think of what life is now. I wanted to be Christian Amanpour – much to my mother’s horror. (And when you live in a Chinese family, you parents’ opinion matters. A lot.) I graduated with a double degree in law and political science. I used to be the frumpiest, most boringly-clothed female in my family. I don’t even shave my legs – but they’re pretty hairless, to be fair.

And yet, here I am.
